Some scenery

My daughter came home for her birthday over the last weekend, talked me into going up on Scottsbluff National monument for a little walk.  The temp wasn't so bad, in the high 40s, but the wind was absolutely howling, on my wind-o-meter here we were hitting mid to high 40s, it was faster in the open, and the bluff? On the windward side on top we literally could hardly stand up. 

None the less, it was pretty, if you could see it through the teary eyes as the wind blasted your eyeballs.

I can hear the wind!

I watched video of an F18 Superhornet taking off from a few hundred yards away and the wind drowned it out!
