43, sunny and calm, feel downright tropical after the least few days.  Actually have enough snow, might have some mud to deal with by Sunday or so.

Kindly allow me to digress: 65° and sun and soft breezes Monday...

Tee time @ 12:45.

Yesterday was miserable,  Got woke up about 3:30 am by a severe thunderstorm, minutes later the power went out.  Wind started blowing around 6:30, steady at 40-50 with gust in excess of 60.  Lots of trees blown over, branches blown out.  Power finally came back on at 6:00 yesterday evening..

Been windy here, too, Carl.  30-40mph all day yesterday, with thunderstorms in the morning. Down to 20 today mph today, but the sun is out. Been a little cooler as well, only high 60s right now.  Power has been blipping on and off all day, but only for a few minutes at at a time.

Went to the Houston rodeo yesterday.  Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would strap himself to two tons of beef on the hoof while it break dances across the arena floor, but it was fun to watch.  Reba McEntire was the concert for the night.  I'm not really a country music fan, but I will admit to suddenly becoming partial to redheads... :icon_mrgreen:

We had a shot of real winter, some measurable wet snow for a change, less the bitter cold we had been getting.  Not much, but any moisture at this point is welcome, supposed be near 70 this coming week they say.

The pro weather people here in the Springs forecast up to 7" here overnight.

We got clouds and a brisk breeze.

I think I'll go play golf on Monday morning.

One of my favorites!

"They" are forecasting blizzard conditions this Friday. Mebbe no golf for another week. I shot poorly yesterday, but is was glorious anyway...Robin would have had plenty to say... :disturbed:

Yeah, they are giving us the heads-up warning that Friday we may see possibly a trace to blizzard of 49, whatever, what it means is the end of our 70 degree stuff we are enjoying right now.

64 degrees and raining at the moment.  It's clearing off, should be in the 80s later on.  Those northerners keep sending chunks of winter down here (it was 40 here a few nights ago).  Time to knock that off, it's March, fer cryin' out loud! :disturbed:

Once again, wind, clouds, and enough snow for it all to melt as soon as it contacted anything solid on the ground. Supposed to snow again today but that's all past us.

Science, pffft...

Onepoint

No snow, just wind. Actually wan't too bad yesterday, just chilly with the wind, but it howling this morning gotta love the spring... and winter... and summer... and fall windy season.  :eusa_doh:   I see north TX got WY wind the other day, didn't fair too well unfortunately.  I also saw some footage of south central CO had damage as well.
