 Been a busy day over Peterson SFB. A 747 Doomsday plane, tanker/fueler, several F16s and F22s AND an AWACS radar plane all taking turns doing touch-and-goes over the house...

Almost seems like something is up. I heard yuge NATO war games is coming up, but not over Colorado, right?

37 here and raining

Oh it will get better, we hit 43 today, 1st time in a couple weeks.

That north gate is still open.  15kt wind all day, been hovering around 40 since early this morning.  Supposed to be warmer and raining tomorrow...

We may finally break out, 30s tomorrow, then normal 40s, which will feel welcome after this crap.

Almost the same forecast here, Carl, but we might be a little warmer next week than you will be.

Got up to 70 yesterday, 18 this morning with a high of 30. Supposed to repeat this through Sunday and then 50's for highs with mid 30's and rain next week.

Nature tease happening here, too.  66 degrees and sunny right now, on a way back to lows in the 20s over the weekend.  Then back to the 60's and rain next week. 

Mother nature is such a practical joker.  Woke up to 30mph winds, but it was 39 degrees, above freezing for the 1st time in seems like, Oh I don't a decade or so, water running off the roof, snow melting on sidewalks, making it like greased glass to walk on.   10am I glanced at the temp, 20 degrees. What!? And its starting to snow.  By noon its 16 and an inch of snow.    Everything is now frozen to what ever it was touching.

Such a kidder, can we stop playing winter now?
