a bunch of pictures too nice not to share......
First Mount Ranier, near Seattle, Wa..
The Grand Canyon.....
Point Roberts, Wa...... An isolated little pennisula that is part of Washington State, but you have to drive thru Canada to get there..
(more pics tomorrow..)
Wow those are awesome pictures.
mountain range just south of Bonneville salt flats
Now this pics, I'm not sure if it is part of the Grand Canyon, or somewhere else...
some cloud cover...
EDIT... looking at this photo again, I recognize the landscape...that is Point Roberts in the distance, with Vancouver, BC beyond that. This picture would have been taken over Mike Bogh's old stomping grounds near Burlington Wa.
...and finally - just for Jaime - a shot of the coast of the motherland.....
Some nice shots, Nony. The G Canyon is a bit more impressive closer up, though... 8)
We do live in a beautiful country. I've seen most of it from a lot lower altitude, though. Those old Gooney Birds are best around 8000 ft and so's the view! It's funny, though, while I've flown all over the place, I've rarely been on the ground in a lot of places I've flown over!
Wayne, the coast where I grew up was the north bank of the Rio Grand River....but only when there was water in it. :disturbed:
