Happy back. We're having warm and muggy. The ground is still saturated and we keep getting rain. Dylan is right now on the Omaha Beach in Normandy. We don't hear from him, so the assumption is that he hasn't yet run out of money or snacks.

The 8th acre looks really good from 75 feet away. Some stuff seems to thrive in mud.

It's 90 here right now, with the humidity in the upper 70's.  Made a trip home a few weeks ago.  The two days we were there were 105 and 107, and we made a fuel stop in Ft Stockton where it was a balmy 112....It's dry heat, though!   :icon_mrgreen:

Honcho, you can restart this thread at any time...

Heheh, maybe I like the sound of crickets?  :icon_mrgreen:

We were cool all spring, then we had a couple 104 degree scorchers about the 4th, and then muggy  90s since, but yes its definitely summer, had thunder scare the crap out of me yesterday, a little rumble, so I poke my head out the door to see if its thunder or someone pulling in,  and then a crack that sounded like a cannon right over the house, good thing I don't have bad heart.

While Dylan's in Europe T has a friend up from Co. Springs. Magically the rain is backing off a bit (I was mowing twice a week), and the new fire pit is gettin a good breaking in. Lawn mower deck is just getting a good breaking--I had to have it welded back together...again. This propity is hard on tools.  :eusa_doh:
