Post by: Onepoint on October 28, 2009, 09:31:21 AM
The weather guys started last week telling us we are in foir a change, by Sunday it was predicted 1-3", by yesterday they are saying maybe 20" through until friday now.  :icon_confused:  All i know is the 1st 5 or so we got must weight about a metric ton per square inch. All the leaves are gone and the branches are still dipping to the ground.

I looked at your nws forcast.  lol :eek5: :eek5:  The worst thing was I saw winds predicted to 35mph.  I know that coupled with your forcast of those inches of snow, whoodogs it would be a good time to be in Jamaica, mon.

Heh, well its so dang wet I doubt its going to blow much at least until tonight and tomorrow when it gets colder.  But its starting to really pile up.   I would be afraid to go to Jamaica for not wanting to come back until spring.

Well, I hope I don't see any polar bears to go along with our arctic climate. We got another foot or so, this is getting fun.

We got around two inches of rain night before last, which became snow around noon yesterday..we still got ten inches of that on top of the rain...

If it weren't for AlGore and his money machine we'd be under 30 inches of the white stuff right now...

We ended up getting about 18"  or so, we had some wind but it was so heavy it didn't drift as bad as it could have, still some 3' ones, and they closed school for 2 days.  We had rain snow mix the 1st day so we have 3" of slush underneath the snow and its a sloppy mess.  The only good thing was in Sept I had 2 semi loads of gravel brought in so at least we can get around in the yard.

Hey, I will have you know that this is red neck country here! Pickup trucks, quads and fishing boats rule! We're good for about 400 years on oil......

....our pansy neighbors to the west have a c-tax, but they are a bunch of vegetarian tree huggers....
