:disgust: I got whatever crud has been going on around here. Been in the house since last Thursday. Had a slight fever but had a chest that felt hot. Took some antibiotics that were prescribed last year for similar symptoms and seem to be recovering finally. Anybody else got it or something else? I hate to call it swine flu, havent been to the dr as it seems to always cost several hundred dollars to set foot in that place. Then the druggist seems to want a slice of pie.
The other night wife and I had a drink that I ended up calling it Scotchtape. ... heh heh, Dewars with a good dollop of honey, raw sugar, and some green tea to take the edge off. dewars=scotch... honey=tape cuz honey is sticky. Woulda had a hot toddy or whatever if we had some lemon. Anyway it worked pretty good. For soothing the throat a little bit that is.
Re: Crud...We just went through what I thought was a cold, 'cept Ma & the kid (PuddinFace apparently immune to such trivial human ailments) had fever and nausea. I'm still getting over the cough, and here comes round 2. There are apparently 3 or 4 viruses in the general population right now, one of the the swine variety.
What's that rule? Kids in school, you sick too!
Yeah :disgust: but all our kids have left the roost. :eek5: But the wife works in the school lunch room. :eusa_wall:
