Man, the bug is everywhere up here. Thing is though, it's just a flu bug. Dylan had it last week, threw up a couple times, coughed and wheezed, then got over it. Yes, there are some other bugs going around up here--I've caught a couple already, but somebody is making a lot of noise for the usual...We took Dyl in to the doc, who said "Yup, H1N1, but don't get panicky, it's just an over-hyped flu bug..."
So the school calls, wants to inocculate the kids for the swine...I tell them that they've already been exposed, so I'm told that they need the stuff so they don't give the flu to others...WTF? So of course I REFUSED.
So this morning I got the trots and a thicker head than usual---Am I gonna die? Being as I'm in the high-risk age group (50+)...
...Just a rant, nevermind... :icon_wink:
Us 50+ year olds are too codgety and grumpy to die. At least that is what I have been told on occasion. :eusa_think:
Good luck to ya. I spent a loooong weekend and a few days on either side of it a couple weeks ago with some kind of crud. Its not fun.
Actually, I am sorry to say, its terminal, prognosis is you may only make it another 40 or 50 years or so. :'(
omigawd....we're all doomed!!!!
My main client, a caretaker who runs a lot of upscale propities and adopts kids on the side texted me yesterday; "4 down with swine, 2 upper respiratory". This means I'm not working this week either...
Oh, she sent me another text about ten minutes later; "and me makes 5"
Yes, doomed we is...
Quoteyou may only make it another 40 or 50 years or so.
