Terrin gave me a SIX GALLON winemaking kit for Christmas. :vikingsmiley:
The chokecherry must started fizzing last night. :eusa_clap:
I have no idea what I'm doing, and have found that the advice spectrum online is mind boggling. :eek5:
Wish me luck on this first batch, if it turns out good we may finally get out of the rhubarb crisp rut we've been in here these last 15 years.... :disturbed:
Every once in while my wife will make wine, we don't drink it very often, sometimes its pretty good, sometimes not, and I imagine we wouldn't know the difference anyway.
So good luck with the sperimentin.
This is where the waiting starts. I think I done good, it tastes like a dry red wine with a hint of Bazooka Joe at the finish. No idea what it'll be in a few months.

By my scientifical calculations, It looks like it'll cross the finish line at about 12.5% ABV, quite a bit higher than the stuff from the store.
