Title: Happy Thanksgiving
Post by: Frazz on November 25, 2020, 12:32:12 PM
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and to the Canuckistans too if they celebrate it at the same time we do.

Wife and I are staying home and having my dad out.  He lives 5 miles away so no problem.  So, just the three of us.  Turkey, dressing, mashed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

Thanks Frazzy,

It will just be me and Billie Sue this year for Thanksgiving.  We are having a 2 inch thick bone in prime ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, cornbread dressing, and banana pudding for dessert.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thanks Fraz, happy T day for everyone, even those who can't wait until Nov for black Friday specials and move it ahead a month or 2.

Its just Vick, myself, and my Mom.   Kayla and her guy are staying home.  He had some people test positive for covid where he works and they don't  want to chance it.

We are going to keep it relatively simple, Turkey, stuffing sweet and mashed potatoes gravy,  and may some sort of green stuff on the plate to throw to the dogs when no one is looking.  Which will end up being too much, not counting the carrot cake and banana bread my mom made and the pies Vicki baked last night.

But oh the nirvana of left overs we are going to have.

Happy Turkey day to all of you!

It's a special one for me - first Thanksgiving off in 27 years.  Spent yesterday in Palestine, TX doing the Polar Express train ride on the Texas State Railroad with the kids and grandkids, and am now making side dishes for dinner at our daughter's place a little later.  One fried and one smoked turkey and PIES!!

A happy Thanksgiving to all, including belated felicitations to our token Canuckdian!

Got the kids this entire weekend, the 4 of us are overindulging on the classics, tukeygravytatergravystuffinggravysweetatergravyrollgravypumpkinpie--holdthegravydeviledegg....

Egad I'm full and none of this stuff is on a plate yet...

No cranberry. "Someone" forgot to pick up a bag yesterday, and now resides on the List of Eternal Shame.

For once, I behaved myself at the table.  No regrets, no miseries.

Still ambulatory here.

Family had their fill of tradition, today I'm cookin' up a little Cajun yum that a friend video'd. Love Rob's recipes!

I'm going to toss in some andouille, which technically makes it "gumbo", but what the heck....
