Title: Happy 4th gents
Post by: Onepoint on July 04, 2026, 08:23:44 AM
Not going to do much, Kayla is staying in Cheyenne to watch the show they have planned there. It so dry here with high fire danger we won't shoot much fireworks or guns, but will do a little, its the 250th after all.

But will be mostly grumbling about irrigating which is at least something to be thankful for.

We had 2 NASA painted jets, and F15 and F18 stop in Cheyenne on the way somewhere for today. Along with a B29 "Doc" apparently. Love the sound of freedom.

Hope everyone has a good one!

Happy 4th guys. I went to Buc-Ees yesterday, an amazing example of the Great American Cluster Jam. I10 westbound was at a full stop, including shoulders, offramp and median (Texas, yeh?), and Buc-Ees was packed with families of 3-6, all being as discourteous a glut of humanity I've ever navigated. What a blast!

Today will mark the quietest Independence Day I've enjoyed in decades. I'm okay with that.

Hot and dry here, currently 104, heat index shows 114.  Happy 250th Birthday America!!!  Just pulled some country style ribs off the pit, Billie Sue made potato salad, green beans, and rolls.  Got strawberry shortcake for later.
