Title: Hey Honcho
Post by: stetto on August 24, 2010, 05:13:36 PM
Do you remember that pic that Mot posted a long ways back of a huge whitetail stag with the shooter kneeling between the rack?

I can't find it here, must be on the old board.

The guy that bagged that deer is my doc.

He'd like to hunt in WY, is interested in your neck of the woods. What do the mulie numbers look like?

* Oh yeah, he might take me with him... :eusa_clap:

I haven't seen but a couple does around so far, but we don't have corn across the road anymore, and the corn there is around is up yet,  plus there has been a lot of grass so they keep out of the way until it gets colder.  Of course you are welcome to come, but I wouldn't claim its great hunting area for deer unfortunately, especially nice big bucks, lots of private land and not many want hunters tromping around.  I would hate to have someone travel all the way here and be disappointed.

We do have a walk in area behind us, and Table mountain wildlife is just couple miles away that will allow big game hunting. The deer hunt area number is 55, maybe he can look up reports online for it.
