One of few calm days this summer, Guess who came out to play--ALL DAY!






The guy fly right over the house about a hundred feet up, so I grab the camera and find out the card is full...

Fortunately the wife has a cheapie for casual use. It takes terrible pics, though, and I had to crop these because there is no telephoto.

BTW, THIS one is a Cessna 188, I swear...

We had one last Monday do that spraying mosquitoes.

But what was cooler was the really low fly over of a Blackhawk last Friday.

I was working on a ladder out front of a house situated on top of a high sloping arroyo (sp? Hep me out here, Sancho) way back in the 90s...An entire squadron of Apaches (a flippin' dozen) flew up the slope in formation, almost right at me. They looked, from my vantage point, to be just off the deck.

Found out later that day that the entire squad was headed for the Middle East the next day and was treating the locals with flybys. What a sight!
