Servo Hatch

After trying several ways of mounting servos this seems to be the simplest and nicest looking way of mounting hidden servos so far.

An aircraft plywood hatch with hard wood, or bass mount lugs epoxied to the hatch for the servo. A slot cut though for the arm.

The hatch is 1/16" or 3/32" aircraft ply. I use bass or hard wood mount rails epoxied between the ribs and recessed so the hatch fits flush.

As has been brought to my attention, I forgot to mention running paper tubes through the ribs for the servo leads. Paper tubes can be made by rolling a sheet of paper and taping or gluing it together, extremely light and easy to do.

Thanks Brad M. for reminding me.
