As for us, we went to our oldest daughter's house and all our kids and most of the families were able to be there. We had to celebrate early as all work in medical field somewhere, and schedules are tight. One spouse and grandkid didnt get to make it as work didnt permit it, and in the case of divorces, one child didnt get to be there as other arrangements were made. We had a good time and the little cousins had fun playing together and watching movies, playing games, etc.
Chrismas eve we will go to my parents house where it has been tradition to eat soups and sandwiches of various kinds, and hopefully my brother and sister and families will show up too.
HO HO HO here's wishing all of you a healthy and safe Merry Christmas.
Hey Ron, light up a heater for me when you get a quiet moment... 8) "They" made me quit...
We are augering ourselves right here for Christmas. On the Eve, however, we have a tradition of partaking in the annual Christmas Eve Lasagna Feed at Gram's house. I tried to talk her into using the Italian venison sausage and got the anti-Bambi sneer, so if I want venison lasagna, I'll be cooking my own.
We would usually go over for Christmas morning festivities as well, but gas just went up and over $3/gallon here and I feel the need to make a statement to my "Bush'sEvilOilBuddies"-hating Dad, who hasn't said a word about gas prices in two years...
A momentous Christmas holiday to all o' yuz...
Going to be spending the day doing what I love best - making the skies safe for all those poor fools who will be trying to fly somewhere on Christmas. My wife and kids already think Thanksgiving falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, so I guess we can move this one around, too! :icon_mrgreen:
It's actually going to be a short shift, so I'll be home by late afternoon and we'll do all the good stuff then. All the kids are home this year, so I'm really looking forward to it.
Feliz Navidad, everyone!!
Quotegas just went up and over $3/gallon here
Believe it or not, you are lucky at that price! .....we pay 50 cents a gallon more for the same gas and it comes from underneath our feet........most of it is pipelined down to youse guys.....
Anyways it is going to be a reasonably quiet Christmas, but both kids will be home, so we will have a nice family time together.....
Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!
We are just staying home like usual, just the way I like it.
By the way
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
We are going over to a niece and nephews house this evening for supper. Then back to the house, and spend a nice quiet Christmas at home.
Billie Sue and I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

No white stuff here, but it is raining tonight. Does that count?
I'll be wishing YOU and YOURS a Verrry Merrry Christmas filled with joy and warm spirits (in the case of Ray, most certainly of the Single Malt variety).
God Bless all of my Brothers here!

OK then. Day after. Hangover. Wasn't drinking. That much...
Mrs. Santa gave me a Sawzall...I already have one, so this will be the first time in my short 51 years that I actually return a Christmas gift. This should be a good week to do it, as a much more realistic pricetag is hung on things before the new year, and what I really wanted was one of those neat little tools that cut on the 90-degree and have all the wonderful attachments. Afterall, I have a moneypit to maintain... :icon_neutral:
Today is the first clear-sky day in a week, and oh is it white out there! I looked out the window just in time to watch a bald eagle fly over the propity.
Can't decide, once I get rid of this headache, whether to go skiing or to Menards...
It was foggy most fo the day yesterday, but were rewarded with the pretty hoar frost on everything, just like they show on Xmas cards, all in all not too much to complain about.
I got a Ryobi cordless kit with the circular saw, mini vac and drill. I have probably 5 cordless drills, but the batteries go bad and its cheaper to get another drill than get a battery pack, but in this case I wanted the circular saw, for when up roofing etc.
Spent the last 5 days sick in bed. Anyway, any of ya notice you can change the direction of the snow? lol
Wife and I didnt get each other anything this year. We decided to save that money and try to go on a cruise instead.
