Hey, is everyone doing ok? Been kinda quiet here for a while.
Pat and I just got home from an epic two week vacation to New England and other parts north, and I talked to Stetto a few days ago and got caught up with him. The Texas Fubar contingent has expanded a bit!
Been busy, trying to get hay done for the year and selling calves. That and arguing with leftist dipshits on facebook about how they killed Charlie Kirk. :icon_wink:
As previously noted I continue to be alive and sound. Acclimating to yet another state. Pining for fresh pork and an open pit fire and spit upon which to roast it, though a good pellet smoker will suffice.
Finding a good band continues to elude me. I promise to try harder.
Calving season for me, have 5 first calf heifers that I am watching close. Have 3 calves on the ground as of this morning.
We've been entertaining family here. And trying to keep what grass we have alive.
Hi guys....just checking in .......which is a bit of a process as only my old ipad gives me access to this site. So I have to dig it out, and charge up the batteries, and somehow it remembers who I am. My newer devices won't do that.
Anyways, life is good. Everyone is healthy. Granddaughters are growing up and amazing me with how much they know at such a young age....they are both bilingual, the oldest taught herself how to read, writes in cursive and built a lego robot. The younger one has a totally different personality with no filters. She soaks up things instantly...
The wife and I are slowing down, although I try and stay active with cycling and skiing. However, in this weather, sitting by the fireplace in my recliner with doggy on my lap is pretty attractive.....
