Keep the faith brother. Thing happen for a reason.  In my case the reason more often than not, is I'm stupid unfortunately, but its not wrong.   

Hopefully the new space will work out fine.

Moving day tomorrow. I found a decent little RURAL RV park about 15 miles south of here right on the Guadalupe River. At least I won't be living in a van...

Rent is low, lots of year-round tenants, still close enough that the PuddinFace can come down and go fishing with Pop like we did when she was a pup.

I really like where I am, and I'm grateful to my hosts for the 5+ months they gave me here. They're still close, and will continue storing belongings I can't haul around with me, and my porchlette is coming with me.

I'm feeling pretty neutral about the new digs, but there is every chance that this will turn out a positive turn of events.

Had an unusual near perfect day weather wise yesterday, 80, partly cloudy and just a slight breeze.  But this morning what the heck, its ffff...44 out right now. We are definitely sliding into fall, even though we have some 90s coming still, I'm seeing a lot of 80s and even a couple low 70s for highs. After all the heat this summer its a shock to the system.

The way too short part is all too true. As the rest of Texas dries up to the point of rolling into New Mexico like a tumbleweed, Houston is lush and green and EVERY BIT AS HUMID AS JAIME SAYS!

Had a great multitopic chat, unloaded a wealth of R/C & C/L inventory on the man, and left just ahead of traffic that I'd likely still be in today had I left any later. On the way out I witnessed one of the most disturbing things I think I've ever seen: 30 gold colored Teslas (including the gold paper plate wheel covers!), all in a row, practically touching front to back, going in the opposite direction. Strange enough, right? BUT THERE WERE NO DRIVERS OR PASSENGERS IN ANY OF THEM! I'd heard of this madness, but seeing them in this manner was nothing short of terrifying.

A memorable trip for sure. Biggest town I've ever driven through...

Had a grand day yesterday.  Stetto drove out to visit and we had a fine old time.  It was great to see him, even though said visit was all too short.  We really need to start thinking seriously of a Fubar get together.

Rain this evening for us. 3+ inches over 6 hours. I didn't go outside for an accurate look but the flashlight was good enough to see we are over 3 a bit. And mercifully 75 degrees for a change.

We got rained on for thirty minutes at a high school football game 6 miles from the house, but no rain at the house.  Seems like it has rained everywhere in Houston but here.  At least the cloud cover is keeping the temps down, 83 right now.

Ugh, we are not that hot, but have been pretty warm, mid 90s for a few days, some clouds in the afternoon that makes humidity come up, but we supposedly have a pretty good shot of thunderstorms Sunday into Monday, at6 this point I hope it bounces us got hay to cut so any rain is not as appreciated right now.

 But I see a lot more days in the long range forecasts that are in the high 80s now than we did most of the summer, the latest one had a day of 70s for a high next Sunday, which will change by the time it comes, but still a 1st predicted 70s for a good while.  We have been trending to be hotter than predicted all year, with the exception of a few days we were lower and wetter than they said we would be. Moisture has been hit or miss, mostly miss.

We had cloud build up and move over and gave us 9/10's of an inch of rain yesterday afternoon.  Not nearly what we need but was so welcomed.  And our streak of 100 degree plus days has came to an end today!  Set a new record of 33 days in a row!
