How do I post a pic in here?

I tried to post one earlier from my iPhone as an attachment.  Once it said it was too large  and then just said it would not accept the format.  I think my iPhone does a jpeg.  And the help page said something about jpg.  I guess they are not the same thing.  So do I have to get the pic on my computer and convert it somehow or what do I do?

It should work, jpeg and jpg are supposed to be the same thing so you shouldn't have to reformat it.  It is limited to size.  I have not tried to upload from my phone before however, that may not let the script the forum runs access it.

I just tried to upload from my phone, but mine won't let me resize, and it was acting funky about uploading as well telling me the text box was empty when it wasn't.  Sometimes if you get an error uploading, its best to get all the way out and start over instead of just retrying. Or try maybe uploading from a computer and see if that works.

I never had any luck even with re-sizing my iphone photos.....

Frazz, if you can, email the photo to yourself and then use a photo editor to resize it.  I use Paint, but there are several that wok just as well.  I can never upload pics off my phone either.

I did as you suggested Jaime.  Several steps but it worked.  Thanks.  I maybe could have made it bigger and also I didn't go into paint, as when I opened it up in windows it saved it as jpg.  Weird but anyway this is only forum I had trouble posting directly from my iPhone.
