If the muckety-mucks don't repeal the HIPAA statutes I foresee a lot of self righteous and proud "papers please" mongers scrambling to protect their assets from the tort lawyers.

I think a lot of the whistle blowing that the .gov and their media stockboys have been ignoring and denying is about to become overwhelming to the point where something's gonna give. The web they've woven touches every one of them, right down to local officials and doctors. Only question is: Will it matter at this point?

One thing "border crossing" did happen to us in South Dakota: We to a two lane route from Rapid City to east of Bismark. There are a couple big indian reservations along the west side of the Missouri River, We drove through one. Road block going in, road block going out, calling themselves "covid checkpoints". Nice enough kids, asking generic intrusive questions like "where ya been?" & "where ya goin'?" & "how ya feelin'?". I felt like telling them "nunion", but we just wanted the hell out of SoDak and get home.

No, they didn't bring up vaccinations and they weren't wearing uniforms, but it sure could turn that way in a New York wuflu minute....
