What a goofy spring

We did not have Spring here.....went straight from winter to summer

Wow, we rarely see more than 1 or 2 at a time here, and not for the last couple years any at all.   We did get about 1/2" or rain over a couple days, and its enough to push everything to grow and sprout. Am thankful for the late snow and that rain at least.

We've never had more than four around here in a season (not counting younguns, which show up later).

This late/nonexistant spring has left the little buggers without a flower to drink out of. We are a "rescue".
