After a downright chilly couple of days, we turned the corner and it's getting nice again.  51 this morning, but now the sun's out, the birds are chirping and life is good.  I can finally open the windows!  73 outside now.

Onepoint

Wow, actually woke up to snow, they were predicting some, I heard something about 4" possible last night, but we have about an inch or so, not quite 2", still lightly snowing but looks like its about to move off.  Its cold though, 3 for windchill, 15 on the thermometer.  Been used to 60s since the 1st of the year for the most part so not used to it at all.  We need moisture desperately, but this isn't it, this is mother natures middle finger I think.

Onepoint

We ended up with a good 2", and it was fairly wet and heavy,  still not much moisture, but at this point we take what we  can get.  The down side is its -8 without wind this morning as well, after the last few weeks where we never went below 40 some nights this is a shock to the system.

Another, and hopefully the last, cold front hit us last night.  42 with wind chills in the lower 30s.  It's 63 and sunny outside right now, but that north wind still has some bite to it.  Back into the 80s by the end of the week.

Only 83 here in Cancun......back to the freezer in a few days.....

Good choice for vacation, sounds like the other coast is 50% chance of lead rain.  :sadness:

We are headed for a week of warm and windy again.

Yeah lots of cancelled flights into there. Surprisingly cool and cloudy today!

Gate closed, sun shining, birds chirping and I'm above ground.  Life is good.  77 degrees right now, been getting into the low 60s at night.  The pollen is starting to fly, so it must be getting to be spring.

Onepoint

Its been nice here mostly, had a little snow a few days ago but can't tell now. Had all week of wind, but the last couple days have been very nice.  Of course I had to go get some teeth pulled, so have not been enjoying it much.

Nice enough here ( Monroe Wa) that I'm scared that i will have to start thinking about mowing for the first time this season, or going out, and trying to kill off the rogue blackberry bushes before they start to grow again for the season...

On the other hand, my kid is in his first year of the Air Force, and freezing his nutz off in Minot :)

Onepoint

Its been nice here, mostly, but its been the driest warmest winter I have ever seen here.  We did get a 1/4" of rain last night, the most we have had since like Nov or something, and they are promising more this week. TX had a harder winter than us, at lest on the eastern side of the state.

Looks like we are predicted to get some serious storms and rain starting tomorrow evening and lasting through the weekend.  I sure hope so, we need rain bad.

I played golf yesterday. Today I took my 5 mile walk in a snowstorm. Monday is forecast for clear and 70°.

Welcome to Colorado.

Too late.  Had to get back to doing that last week.  Damn grass didn't die when it got cold, so I was out mowing this morning while it's still cool enough to do that.  The 40lb sack of weed killer / fertilizer that was $30 three years ago is now 34lbs and $68.  I'm going to give up yardwork for financial reasons!

77 degrees and really windy right now.  Supposed to get a lot of rain tomorrow.

Onepoint

We got almost 2/10" of rain, spit snow for a while but that's it, supposed to be 70 tomorrow.  If this is our big March storm we are headed for record drought this year, after 3 of being in one already.
