We might have had 15" all this winter, if you count the 1" snows that blow away immediately.  Its looking pretty bleak for summer water.

gawd......we have had that much snow this morning! Yes....another blizzard.....

balsum fractus

...and it is a nasty one.....and it's cousin is just north of you Stetto.....

My brother sent me this picture....

Oh but doesn't that look fun...Our forecast, just last night, was for "light flurries maybe" in the evening, with occasional unicorns...

This week last year it was in the upper 70s...

I remember snows like that, unfortunately now we get some light snow if lucky, and then the wind comes along and sucks it all up.  We had that 6" or so last week, 4 days later had some 50mph wind and the dirt was blowing so bad it looked like a Iraq sandstorm.

Well, we didn't get any snow, but it pollened pretty badly last night.  About an inch or so at my house, with more flurries expected through this afternoon.  Hopefully, it'll rain later today and ease the situation.

Hey, Nony, how nastii was it?

balsum fractus

they' re calling it "snowmagedden" Massive accident involving around 100 vehicles south of the city. Driving conditions were terrible.

On. the bright side, there was not a single reported case of anyone getting bitten by a moose.

Onepoint

Well there is that, moose bites are nasty.

jetmex

My sister got bit by a moose once....

Frazz

so, she was moosed was she?  :disturbed:  anyway it is pretty much blizzarding here... but we only gonna get a few inches of snow, unfortunately.

April 6, still over a foot of snow in the shallow spots. And of course it's snowing...Nope, raining...Uh, wait, snowing...No-no-no, raining again...Uh-oh, now it's both.

This is getting to be a miserable spring. I can do nothing outside without chisling through solidified drifts, and by this time most years I'm prepping the 8th acre...

No moose, though. We had a sharp-shins in the yard yesterday, messing with the bird feeders and the chipmonks that came out of hibernation last week (HA! Jokes on YOU, ya little bastiges!), ans Canada & snow geese are everywhere, but none of them look very happy either.

At this rate we won't have ice off the lakes until mid-June. :eek5:

Frazz

so... ahhhh   :icon_lol:   you are draggin around in all    :icon_lol:  that deep snow, eh???   :disturbed:  sounds like a  :icon_lol:  case for  :icon_biggrin: blueballs  :eusa_doh: :disturbed: :thinkerg: :eusa_naughty:

Hard to believe as a crow flies there is about 500 miles between us and it may as well be a different world.  Been 60 and 70s and dry with some wind, 3 times this week we had Iraqi style dust storms as in you could not see the road in front of our house for a couple hours.   But since its WY we can't be left out of any kind of weather.  Tuesday is supposed to be 25 for a high, 15-20mph wind and 4-8" of snow.  :eusa_doh:
