We are getting into hybrid weather...rain/snow overnight, then warm and sunny by the afternoon.....

The trees are starting to show some sign of life.

I had thought we were done with winter, but had some of it yesterday again, it started to rain, snowed most of the day then turned back to rain and stopped by dark.  At least the wind is constant in this storm.  Silly me thinking that stuff planted that had sprouted meant that maybe spring was here to stay.

Three & a quarter inches of rain over the weekend. Still like the 1st of March, temp-wise. I fear another late spring. At least there's no snow in the forecast.

I guess we were lucky, we only got nearly hurricane straight wind, and not that high velocity twirly stuff.   I can't tell you how sick I am of 20 degree windchill, it seems its been that since it rose above the negative windchills we had earlier this year.

Count your blessings..

It's snowing again.....

Winter is not giving up!

Onepoint

Well its was low 80s here yesterday, mid 80s today,  I was out on the lawn mower yesterday wondering why  I am sweating.  Just  couple days ago I was worrying about frost, and we had some.

And anyway that's what you get living with Santa as a neighbor,  just so you get your Xmas presents 1st!

We're cursed with 50s for the foreseeable future.

One day closer to summer....or next winter...

Fog today....and probably a hundred year fog, because we just don't get it here in this dry climate....

Onepoint

Its was foggy then hazy here yesterday too, but that's not unusual, but they are calling for rain turning to snow tomorrow here.  I am thankful we are getting moisture, I guess its dry to the point of being a problem in western WY and even northern CO.  But I am not missing snow so much.

Onepoint

Looks like we are going to get all our weather n the same day or so.  Supposed to be severe thunderstorms today, possible tornadoes, and then rain turn to snow with highs in the low 40s tomorrow.  :icon_confused:

Onepoint

They were not kidding, after all day of dark threatening sky,  we had 2" of pea sized hail yesterday afternoon,  this morning I wake up to 1" of snow on everything.

Frazz

guess we have a chance of some moisture tonight and maybe some this weekend.  So far weeds are not growing and the native buffalo grass is still dormant.  Only thing green is what has been watered.

The wheat is still holding on but starting to look bad in places, some of the ends of people's fields have been blowing dirt and wheat is gone on the ends.  A few places the blowdirt has parts of fields almost covered  in dirt up to the stubble tops.
To understand true love, lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for an hour and then see which one is glad to see you when you come back

Onepoint

We had 1.5" of rain /snow.  unfortunately its been frosting, between that the hail, nothing is looking too good here either, getting ready for another shot of the same stuff this weekend, and hopefully when it warms up, there will be more than weeds left to grow.

Dang! We got this green stuff growing all over everything.....can't rightly remember what it is since it seems like we been staring at snow for the last hunnert years......

Don't miss the shovellin' and don't miss the snow!

Us too. Finally starting to moderate. We had 3/4" of rain yesterday morning, but it became severe clear @ around 4 pm, and stayed that way!! Still in the 50s/low 60s though. Could use a little AlGore action up here...
