sin e Feb, we really have had no moisture, just a lot of wind, and some record high days.  A couple days we had dust storm ala Iraq, that changed the last couple though with alost 2" of rain.  Which I guess guess are lucky, south of us they got 8" of snow and had a 70 car (mostly semis) pile up they are still trying to untangle

We just had a little rain last night, around an inch if you like exaggeration.  Been May-like for a month though, and leaves and bugs are racing out the gate. Last night's rain was the first measurable since, I believe, January. And my yard hydrant quit last week. :eusa_wall:

What I really despise about these beautiful warm early Springs; the inevitable hard freeze that kills it all and makes it start over again. Supposed to dip below 20 tonight.

Onepoint

Yeah, we have been getting in the 50s and 60s, and 20s at night.

Yeah, we have had about 5" of rain the last week, and are supposed to get some of that Saturday night and Sunday, but I hope its not like that, that happened  last year and screwed up hay the whole rest of summer

stetto

Well guys, we've been blessed up to today, 60s & 70s every day since my last report...and less than an inch of rain in the same time...The hydrant out back started working again, I got a new spool and O rings, I figure after 8 or so years maybe some maintenance is in order.

50s and maybe a frost the next couple days, but no snow in the immediate forecast.

Heh, 6 to 9" tonight and tomorrow supposedly for us. I suspect it will be mostly rain, moisture supposed to equal 1 to 2" which will bring us up to around 6" in a little over a week. But we will see.  Even the ducks are looking for umbrellas.

We finally got to the half inch Mark and it's still raining. Notice I said raining. Sorry for you guys, but we're having one of the biggest blooms ever and a well deserved early spring.

That was a little close for comfort.  I went to town yesterday,   had a thunderstorm build south of town, about when I was ready to go home the town siren and phone alarm went off and said to take cover immediately with a tornado on the ground about 2 miles south of where I was.    I went out and you could see a wall of hail andrain coming, but no tornado, so I hurry, along with several others to get the hell out of there. But we were all held up because ta the tsop sign someone was busy gawking at the storm.  :eusa_wall: When we finally got to go, I went north to the hiway and east, and along there people were stopped gawking again slowing traffic, here was a wall cloud and funnels and people are out of their cars looking, unbelievable.

Later last night the pictures started to be posted, this trailer house was rolled over within about 1/4 mile or so of where the dumbasses were waiting to see the tornado the radio was talking about.  I missed it by 5 minutes, I never saw it, it was blocked by the rain to see from where I was.

Wow, that looks more like turned inside out than rolled over. I've been reading that "they" are saying it's a very mild tornado year, too...

Stay safe.

Gah, the rain.  When it rains, it pours, and doesn't stop apparently.  We were bone dry, had up to 85 in all of March and April for the most part, it was looking like drought.  So far in May its so wet you can't get in the fields, the corrals are slop holes, mushrooms are coming up everywhere and I saw some moss yesterday on the shady sides of some trees..MOSS?  I didn't know I had been transported to Oregon.
