I got stuck with a tractor in the middle of the yard on a frozen ice puddle.  I was starting to think  I would have to get another one going to pull it off. 

I watched a tractor mounted snow blower go for 420 bucks in early Nov on an auction, and I was thinking the guy was an optimist because it was bone dry and 60 degrees, looking back I should have bought the dang thing.

Egad......and we are warm and melting....

We need some snow, or it will be a very, very dry summer!

Yeah just a couple days later we thawed out too, more wind, mud and water standing than anything right now.  We didn't get that much snow from the last one, but folks south had 16" and its starting to melt and they are getting street and road flooding because the sides of the roads and gutters are still piled with ice and snow.

Ooooooooo! We got some snow....a couple of inches, more to come.

Not a fan of these premature thaws, besides leaving everything covered in sand and mud, it leaves a layer of ice under the snow. It should be an interesting drive into work this morning!

Severe clear and about 66 degrees here right now, on it's way to a high in the upper 70's.  Been a little windy, though.

unrelenting southern and easterly winds, can't even try to keep ahead of drifting. Found a plow guy, but @ $40 a pop I'll be broke by this time next week.............

Still windy, just west of us they had some gusts that went over 80 MPH, amazing what flies you think wouldn't when it gets like that.

Yeah, breezy here too.  We got a bit of snow, but it mostly melted.  The farmers are going to be hurting this year if we don't get some moisture in the ground .....ie a good slow melting snow pack.

It could be a dust bowl this summer....

Global warming alert!! Feb 26 and the forecast is for 47 today, 55 tomorrow.

It's gonna be a sloppy mess around here! I did have crushed asphalt put in the driveway two years ago, no mud this time.

Well, the motorcycles are out enjoying the sun yesterday......very mild April we are having this month.

We did get a splash of rain today.....

Last couple of days its been real springy, in fact Friday was one of those rare perfect days of about 72, calm and sunny.  But the last couple we had a return of the wind, and its really dried out now, we have a bunch of fire warnings out.

That's just weird...fire warnings in February !!

Yeah and not just warnings, we had several fires around,  one went through 4000 acres of grassland. 70 mph wins they could not drive fast enough to catch it.

OK WTH? We just had a hail storm go through, left the ground white with hail up to 1/4" big
