First frost last night, but the days have been warm ( for this time of year) and sunny. Still have one strawberry trying to ripen............

I think hell froze over again last night.  It's 60 degrees right now on the way to 73 for the high.  Caught me off guard because I can't find my parka and mukluks!

😱 oh nooooo! Better throw another couple of logs on the fire!!

However will you make it through?  I suppose you could break up furniture for a camp fire.  We are supposed to have a heat wave of low 70s the next couple days.  I just wish the 'normal' would ever be the weather we get.  Instead of her cousin, Abby.

I have no freakin' idea.  It was 55 this morning and those missing mukluks are starting to be an issue.  Our fireplace is pretty much non functional, so I thought I'd put the fire pit thingie from the backyard into the living room.  My Yankee wife was not amused and promptly opened all the windows in the house.  Now she's complaining about trees not changing color.  Have no idea what that's all about....

Heh, well thoughts and prayers etc.    :icon_lol:

Well, it warmed up into the high 70's, so the better half made me put the fire pit thingie back outside.  Still haven't found the missing mukluk, but I bought a bunch of wool socks and my parka is ready just in case it drops below 70 again.  Never can be too careful about stuff like that.

I know you are not used to extreme weather like this, but as a precaution, you should get your garage to put winter air in your tires......😁.....otherwise you would have to plug in your tire chains, and fill your block heater with antifreeze!

.......you're welcome! ...just another service that we offer 😂

Make sure you have the winter version of blinker fluid as well.  Nothing worse than the blinker getting froze in one direction, happens to them older folks all the time around here who obviously overlooked that..

I don't know if you can get winter air down here unless you import it from Yankee land, and it might cost a fortune because there are no truck drivers to ship it.  My air compressor is definitely a summer version, wonder if there's a conversion kit?

Is the winter blinker fluid blue or pink?

What are "tire chains"?

Winter false alarm.  Got wet and muggy this morning, then a cool front came through and now it's 72 degrees and severe clear.  Still have the parka standing by,, but Pat won't let me bring the fire pit thingie back inside.  I think it had something to do with the smoke, but I'm not sure.

When are you moving down here, Stetto?
