At least you don't have to write that check.  Cold and windy here, 37 maybe a chance of flurries, but probably not. Just wind for the next few foreseeable.

Last week was absolutely beautiful, temps in the 70s all week.  Had another winter yesterday when it only got to 40, now the sun is back and it should be nice again for a few days.  Seems like the cold fronts always hit over the weekends.  What's up with that?   :disturbed:

We were down right springish  today, 60 and calm for a change.  Going back to winter tomorrow though, then maybe warm again by the weekend.   Not doing much for the drought, but I don't mind not freezing my butt off.

Onepoint

They kind of blew that forecast, supposed to have maybe an inch, farther south to CO maybe a couple, had more like 4". Now supposedly the wind is going to pick up as it warms up into the 40s today, this will be a mess for a while.

stetto

We got a forecast of 2-4", got less than 1/2.

But it did get to 12°.

Gonna take some getting used to these roller coaster winters. Sure, we'd get the 30-40 degree spreads, but usually -30° to +10°. This is very different.

jetmex

Roller coaster is right.  It's been a beautiful week here with temps in the high 70s, until the gate guardian failed us again and left the door open.  There's a 20kt wind out of the north now that's dropped the temp 10 degrees in the last hour, and it's supposed to freeze again tonight.  Hopefully, that's the last cold snap before spring.  Looks like I might have to replace the duct tape on my mukluks..... :eek5:

Well this is going to be fun, we get Nony weather the next week.  Monday starts by snow and cold, no accumulation numbers yet, sounds like the snow will be mostly north so far, but Tuesday and for a couple days, the north gate is blown off the hinges, 0s for highs and negative teens at night and then we get back into the teens for highs until the weekened.  :sadness:  I'm just glad I am not calving, but this is going to be stressful on the poor cows.

stetto

Mmm, 65° yesterday, 55° today, and now I hear the high on Wed is forecast at 11° (Fahrenheit, Nony   :disturbed:).

Someone claimed upwards of a half foot of snow, and mountain accumulations to be measured in feet...but then the "experts" immediately shift to the global warming agenda, warning "continuing drought".

How do you translate 120% of average moisture into drought?

Onepoint

Yeah, you are going to miss much of this fun, its 11 degrees right now, and that's our high for the next couple days or so.

Careful you don't get sunstroke or dehydrated in that heat wave!  We are at a much more manageable -40 ( on both scales)!
😂

Onepoint

We are not quite that bad, just -4  and -18 windchill.  Going to be a challenge to feed cows today.  :eusa_think:
