Yesterday was a brisk wind compared to today, today we scoured everything off, had some honest brown outs, had to stop a couple times on the way to town because the road disappeared. Lots of trees and power poles down, not for us though fortunately. Still miserable, even for WY standards.

80° and humid forecast for Christmas here. Bring it!

Dylan got here safely on Saturday afternoon, and is truly enjoying the break from 15 below.

Now that we're past the winter solstice I expect my peppers to commence to take full advantage of this great weather!

Yeah, it should be something like that here, but we have been in the 60s since before Xmas and dry, so much so the only drifts we have are sand.  Cooler today, was 11 when I got up, but still dry.

Quote-37 here with lots and lots and lots of snow!

Lots of what??   :disturbed:

A cold front is supposed to hit us late tonight.  It's 76 degrees here now, but the high will only be in the 50's tomorrow.  They're talking upper 30s Monday night.  Hopefully this turns and goes north so the yankees can get some more of that white stuff they seem to love so much!

Still can't find my damn parka.....

It's been a couple of weeks of temps in the 80s, which is about to change again.  Cold front tonight will drop us back to the 50s and 60s for the next week or so.  They said it might even rain!  My tree hasn't dropped all its leaves yet, so it looks a little nekkid from the waist up... :disturbed:

It was good chatting with you the other day, Honcho!

Onepoint

Its been springy warm, until today, bitter wind about 30 for a high. Not so bad normally, but hard to acclimate to after 60s.

Piddled on Pflugerville today. Forecast for 63°, it's 52° at noon and I don't see 60 from here.

Got my TX d license this morning. I am officially bona-fide. Now I gotta go into deepest darkest Austin to straighten out my social security.

Heading back to the Springs soon. My childhood best friend is having his plumbing tore out to sacrifice to the cancer gawds. He's 20 days younger than I am...

Piddled a little bit here, too.  Got up to 55 and went no farther.  Hoping the sun comes out soon, this doom and gloom cloudy crap is for yankees.

I lost one of my best friends to cancer four years ago now.  That one hurt for a long time.

We got the 1st measurable rain in I don't even remember now, a whole 1.3 tenths last night,  Other than that its been bouncing around in the 50s and windy mostly, was 60 yesterday, forecast is the same for the foreseeable except the weekly front that moves through and drops temps for a day or so and gives us the wind on either side.

Driest winter we have seen so far.

Someone up north left the gate open again.  Been in the low 30s here the past few nights and will probably be that way again for a few more.  The sun's been out, though, and it has been warming into the 50s by late afternoon.  At least all the ssssssnss.......ssnnnnnn........snsnsnsn....is well east and north of us.  They can keep it, I'll watch it on the tv news.

And I found my parka!  Now if I just knew where my heated socks were.... :disturbed:

Onepoint

Yeah, you know its weird when we are warmer with less snow than the FL panhandle.  :sadness:
