Got as far as Blackwell OK, found a cheap room and we are currently fading. 14 hours is driving I haven't done in many years, wind is insane all day from right to left. Drove through some nasty snow and ice in SoDak, downpours through Nebraska (heard they got a foot of snow in Denver), from Wichita south the smoke is choking.

WONDERFUL TRIP!!

Sorry Carl, Sunday won't work as we'll be on our way back from Port aransas. I love the Bass Pro Shop in Round Rock idea though!!

When we last saw our intrepid Stetto, he was on the road from Ft. Worth to Waco, searching for a Buc-ee's.  Meeting plans still to be determined...

A-a-a-a-and here i sit on the balmy porch of our friends in Pflugerville Texas, drinking my 1st Molsen (after 2 dos equis).
Warning!! Texas is under construction! !!!! Never had such a drive, Fort Worth is more like Fort Apache the Bronx. Boy are we glad we made it. Now I fear the drive home, I'd rather walk, I think.

So far Monday afternoon looks like the time frame to try and get together. The Pro Bass Shop in Round Rock was a great idea, but if Carl can't do Monday I'd almost say that we could meet up in Giddings. Make Roger grill...

We'll hammer this out, it's what we do....sometimes. ....
