QuoteBut I can play guitar again.
There ya go, acclimated...Next!

Hang in there, this is wort part of it, hopefully it will come out. Sure don't like the sound of being on dilantin indefinitely, but that's something you won't know until its over.

I know times like these can get overwhelming, just know we are all thinking of you all.

Y'know, it just dawned on me this morning...The reason we got this house as cheap as we did was because the previous owner's wife had a siezure last February while driving home from Fargo...She rolled her car and was killed. :disturbed:

So... ya thinking a conspiracy? :)

HiTemp

Finally had a free minute to log in here.  Hey y'all!

Stetto, have you tried any sort of scientific investigation yet?  You know, tape recording an empty room all night long and playing it back, backwards, at 2X normal speed to see if there might be some message from Elvis or Michael Jackson or something like that?  :eek5:  I mean, you could be sitting on a bone fide tourist attraction (if you marketed it right :icon_wink:).

We're thinking of ya, pal.  Good luck this week.

Yeah...And the one we saw wandering right under Charlie's (our goldy/shepard cross) nose last night was disguised as a skunk! Little bastiges have absolutely no fear, and Charlie has absolutely no sense of his surroundings. Unfortunately my .243 is broke down in a closet and I haven't secured a varminter yet...My regular doc, the Great White Hunter, suggested a Gamo, but hey, they ain't exactly cheap either!

I go in for surgery on Aug. 10.

I have been legally declared an epileptic, and as such I am not allowed to drive a motor vehicle without proving myself siezure-free for 6 months. At least they're switching my meds to something less "Cuckoo Nesty".

The Riehle's Brain jokes, however, have begun...

And no Tom, I haven't done any recording of any kind...I have a LOT of really good songs that I think I'd be better off getting on tape before the sawbones gets to me...This tumor is messing with my speech center and I was told yesterday that it could get worse, at least temporarily. Besides, if something goes south I need to have something to leave for Terrin & the kids...

Well among the whole suckiness of whole thing that particularly is vacuum enhancing.  :sadness:

Aug 10th? We will be waiting on pins and needles. Hopefully 6 months and 12 days from now you will be able to get the restriction off your drivers license.

HiTemp

Well there may be a gig for you, Stetto, but it might involve some travel.

This was reported in the London Times

Outside the Bristol Zoo, in England, there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8  coaches, or buses.

It was manned by a very pleasant attendant with a ticket machine charging cars £1 (about $1.40) and coaches £5  (about $7).

This parking attendant worked there solid for all of 25 years.  Then, one day, he just didn't turn up for work.

"Oh well," said Bristol Zoo Management. "We'd better phone up the City Council and get  them to send a new parking attendant."

"Err . . . no," said the Council, "That parking lot is your responsibility."

"Err . . . no", said Bristol Zoo Management, "The attendant was employed  by the City Council, wasn't he?"

"Err . . . no!" insisted the Council.

Sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain (presumably), is a man who had been taking the parking lot fees, estimated at  £400 (about $560) per day at Bristol Zoo for the last 25 years.

Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over £3.6 million ($7 million - or $280,000 every year for 25  years)!

And no one even knows his name!

Probably every "important" zoo person walked right by this guy every day and never even acknowledged him.  Who's laughing now?

Looks like all you'll need is a snappy Green uniform shirt and a turnstyle and you're ready to go.

I do notice that your writing style has changed quite a  bit.....and for the better too  :icon_lol: (It is like the English professor within is starting to emerge...)

Speaqking of Puddinface....do you have any recent pics of the Stettolings?

Funny--I've been getting that "writing style" comment from more than a few people in the last month. I have no clue where it might come from--Or where it's going to go... :eek5:

...And the kids...Yeah, finally getting into an active mode around here. Puddin' herself has been disappearing into the woods with jars and buckets, coming out with various critters and a lot of wild raspberries (the place is filthy with 'em). Chokecherry picking time is nigh upon us, I've been watching them all season, and here I'll be laid up in an ICU while they rot on the tree... :disgust:

I have pics Nony, but I'll need to get my computer debugged before I can do anything with them. I got pics of the cropduster strafing the property too...I believe it's an AirTractor...

Terrin "had words" with my mom last night...This tumor thing is bringing out some strange qualities in some of my relatives (NOT my wife)...Makes me want to sit in front of this little computer screen and yak at you guys all day... :sadness:

'parently my spelling has gone south too...or maybe just my eyesight....

stetto

OK guys, this'll be the last post before I lose my hair. Hittin' the sack early, gotta be on the gurney at 6 am.

Terrin has directions to the Hill, I've asked her to let you know how it goes. She'll either log on under my moniker or register, one...

...Hope I remember you!

jetmex

Good luck, amigo.  We'll be pullin' for you.

Yes, I had to be on the road part of the day and completely slipped my mind to give you a call today. :eusa_doh:  Good luck, we are putting the word in for you.
