So I took a bunch of pics at the Bomber Field event last month, but couldn't get them from my phone onto my computer.  Seems my %&$!!@#iPhone 5 something is now ancient technology, (sorta like me) and my laptop didn't want to play.  So I did the next best thing, copped out and sent them to Honcho, who hopefully has a newer %&##!! iPhone 5 something and can post them here.  Thanks, Honcho!

Stay tuned!

There were some beautiful models there.  My favorite was the XB-70.  It was scratchbuilt by a kid from North Carolina; he flew it for the first time at Top Gun a few months ago.  Four EDF's, just a beautiful model.  Right behind it on the cool scale was the big F-104.  Turbine engine, that thing is about nine feet long, but it wasn't finished so it didn't fly.

The blue Cougar was also a turbine model and was the best flying of all the models there, complete with working nav and landing lights and anti collsion beacon.  It was really cool to see him doing low passes with all the lights on!

And, since it was the club's B-17 event, there was a formation fly by of four RC Fortresses, all of which dropped bombs.  No pyro,though... :'(

I got a special warm spot for those P-40s. Not sure where it comes from, but it's always just been there, since I can remember...
