Well thats just false advertising, I didn't see a single chocolate cow to make that chocolate milk.  I bet they import from china.

Tuna fish sandwiches again, for lunch.  And deviled eggs.  It's great to be home!!  We went to Kansas City for Christmas as our daughter lives near there.  Her husband is a Dr. and they do well for themselves.  Anyway, we had to come home and wash all those fit for a king meals away with some normal food.    LOL I'm sick of prime rib, duck fat baked potatoes, cheeses I have never heard of.... you name it.  Oh, it was good alright.  All that rich foods and especially dairy made my lactose intolerance intolerable.  I finally threatned to go to burger king lol. 

Tonight its chili.  yeah baby, it's great to be a peasant

Yeah Ron, don't get too chummy with the home cookin'. I haven't found a recipe that doesn't go great with butter yet...

We finally pared our Christmas ham down to soup bone status just today. Tonight I guess I'm finally cooking again...now where did I put that pound of butter....

At this point, my colon twitched when you typed butter.   However I am wondering if you have found a hot water bath with some beans for that leftover ham bone?  And cornbread somewhere?

Polished off the last of the Christmas tamales for lunch today.  There's a little bit of ham left, and one nutroll, a sweet Slavic pastry that Pat makes that is out of this world.  I think the rest of the universe calls them kolaches...

I'm in one of those lulls where nothing sounds good.  Fortunately burritos are universally edible.

Aw geece, we buy both tuna (solid albacore, no floor sweepins, thanks) and flour tortillas in bulk. And beans, gotta have them beans...

I order Spam as soon as we get down to a half case on the shelf. Can't be without the Spam...

We couldn't decide this morning what we wanted for lunch.  Kind of that lull you were talking about.  I looked in the fridge and said to wife I'm gonna hard boil the dozen eggs and put 2 in some tuna salad and make deviled eggs out of the rest.  Voila.
