we have another day of this, then it is supposed to go above freezing for the weekend..........

I hate to do this to you guys, but it's severe clear here, supposed to be 72 today.  Guess it's about time to dust the airplanes off and see if I can still fly.

A good friend from back home will be visiting this weekend, and I'll be helping my daughter out at a local gun show tomorrow.  It's shaping up to be good days off.

They lied. We had -20 again this morning, 30-something below yesterday. Sposed to get in the 20s above for the foreseeable future, but I cease to believe the weather liars. It will be what it will.

I'm just hoping for snow, and lots of it.

For some reason we are just on the edge of that cold stuff you guys have, the outside edge fortunately. We are getting some wind, but its been 50+ the last couple days.

When you say "I live in Wyoming and it's windy", isn't that technically redundant?

Well there is wind, and there is WIND.  We usual don't count the usual lower case version as 'wind'. 

I just remember trying to "crab" the Telemaster in and actually landed sideways, dropping in like a helicopter.

Jethro Bodine and his pals at the weather service are predicting a foot to 16 inches of snow here sunday. Coming via Casper.

And OK Stetto, There is snow coming your way.  Supposed to be here Saturday, 4-6"  But I am not worried, its going to be going by at 40mph so they say. 

..Yep, more proof that Nebraska sucks....(Oops, did I type that out loud?  )

The wind made measurements difficult after about 12" fell, but according to local reports we're at somewhere around 17".





And the birds knew it was coming; This was taken yesterday before the snow started to get going.




Little bastiges are still out there this morning. This was two minutes ago...



Drifts are hip-high, wind is whipping, gonna be a good day to dig concrete, er snow...
