Frazz

109 out ... 6 percent humidity...  20 mph breeze.  The pee evaporates before it hits the ground.

Frazz

Well, wouldn't ya know it... 110 with gusts to 36.  Can't wait for summer.

Fraz!!! you escaped !!!  :eek5:

...the fear was we would never see, or hear from you again......it has been way too quiet here... :icon_mrgreen:

Onepoint

Heh, yeah we hit 103 with a good breeze too.  I thought for sure we would shrivel up and all be dehydrated mummies by morning.  But then last night the dew was so heavy it was dripping from the roof this morning.   Oh yeah, "move to WY, it 'll be fun." :eusa_wall:

we had a tornado warning this aftermoon....a twister touched down way to the south of us....but no damage reported. We got lots of rain, hail, wind, and lightning.

We finally have "summer". There was no Spring, and everything is late. Rain is, so far, actually average, that is if the forecast for tonight  :eusa_think: comes true...

Our friends in Co. Springs and Florrissant are suffering a more damaging heat. My buddy the guitar store manager said he could hear propane tanks exploding, and he's in the northeast part of town...

Onepoint

Yeah its bad down there.  For a while the other day they could not get away from the fire fast enough, had slurry and water drops just to make safe paths for people to get out.

Been hot and dry here, but not unbearable.  All of the sudden all the snake are out though, I stepped on a 4' rattler yesterday morning, it was so big I thought at first for a second it was a bull snake

balsum fractus

yccccccch!    ah hates snakes!

sure wish I could share this 120% humidity, and balmy 54 F temps with you guys.....we have been pummelled with storm system after system.......which ironically are coming from the south..

stetto

Our forecast was a dud. I went out and tilled the weeds around the "crops", then watered. The peppers are not liking the dry. I'll take Nony's weather, thank you.

I forgot to order dry bean seed, so just opened a bag of Walmart redbeans and stuck 'em in the dirt--$1.89 instead of $10 for internet seed--They're coming up like crazy! Learned a big lesson there...Probly Monsanto tho, so might not see a crop... :sadness: :eusa_wall: :eek5: :disturbed:

We're getting back into the same weather pattern as last year. Dry, with dry and some dry added. I was really hoping to get an inch a week this season. :disgust:

stetto

Finally got our inch of rain last night night. Now they're predicting a minimum 1"/day for the next four days. :disturbed:

Onepoint

Cool.  We had a thunderstorm actually give us a relatively gentle 6/10, no hail, just some wind.  Of course the next day it was 95 with a 25mph wind and 2 days later you would never know. :icon_confused:

zrct02

Rain?   What the heck is this rain you talk about.

balsum fractus

Can you ever have too much rain?   ...the answer is "YES!"

Major flooding to the south and north of us

upwards of 100,000 people evacuated so far, and 3 fatalities to date...the worst is expected over night...

Onepoint

And here we are starting to dress like Bedouins and raise camels.  :sadness:

balsum fractus

yeah..it is too bad the moisture content was not more evemly distributed......
