And much faster than I'd like.  Youngest son David is getting ready to ship off to college.  He's heading out tomorrow for the first week of band camp, will be back Sunday, then we'll be moving him into the dorm next Monday.  He goes through another week of band camp before classes start on the 26th.  We probably won't see much of him again until football season is over unless he needs money or laundry done.  It's going to be really strange - for the first time in 30 years, there won't be any kids in the house.  Hope Pat doesn't drive me crazy....  :disturbed:

Grandson Peter had his first birthday last week, granddaughter Abigail's first birthday is the 24th.  Next thing you know, they'll be in college, too!

This time next year my oldest grandson WILL be entering college.

Heh, well I know the feeling, next weekend we move Kayla down to her college dorm.  Gonna be verwy, verwy quiet.

no grandkids here......maybe in the not too distant future.  Sooper Pilot found himself a gal, and they are engaged......

Heeeeey, that guy looks a lot like some old guy I know.  :icon_biggrin:

She is a cutie

Remember when we first all met and talked about getting old?  Didn't take long to actually get there, did it?   :eek5:

It will be very quiet.  Maybe now I'll have time to do some airplane stuff.  That would at least be a great excuse (to me, anyway) to get out of the list of hunnydooz I see in my future.

I've been 'retired' for a while.  The list of honeydooz skyrocketed.  Get out of them???  If you do, you may be the first male in history...

The kids have been at camp this week. I had so much planned to get done! Then my sisters church called with a job for me...7888 sq ft of lobby & sanctuary to paint. Four twelve hour days later I know in no uncertain terms that my time of doing twelve hour days is long past me... :disturbed:

...And now it's Friday, and we pick up the kids in 6 hours. I just want a nap, and it's only 9 in the a-m... :eusa_wall:

Oh, forgot to mention--Dylan was nominated by a student exchange program to spend 20 days touring Europe next summer, on a scholarship no less. Imagine all the wonderful things I won't get done around here for 20 whole days!

Copy on the 12 hour days, Stetto!  Been doing that since 1993 and no end in sight.  The things we do to make a living ...  :eusa_wall:

And you're right, now that the kids are all gone, I have to do their chores too!

Ask Dylan if he wants to take some old farts to Europe with him.
