Wet and soggy yet again!  Started raining Thanksgiving morning, and has just now quit.  1.5" Thanksgiving day, 3.5" Friday, 2.5" Saturday, and finished up with .25" yesterday and last night. Almost 8" in four days. Hope the sun comes out soon!!!!

Onepoint

Sheesh, we will be lucky to have that much the whole last half of the year when its done soon.

Surprising un-winterlike condions here......we are supposed to get rain this afternoon.......

Buzzardbeak

For the last week, I've been building a large boat. I'll start gathering the animals next  week.

Onepoint

We had a 60/ 60 day, small critters displaced in quantity I think.  Supposed to be winter again this weekend so I hear.

stetto

Well, not 60, but we've had 40s all this week, which has been mighty nice. Two years ago this week we were in the -20s...

Good thing too. I can't get the snowblower to run...again....

Nony, the arm is improving, thanks for asking. Still not worth all that much, but the band played a Christmas party last weekend and it didn't fall off...

I'm up to 10 lb weights, 25 by the holiday.

Good to hear you are making music again...!

stetto

Whoa, lookout!

We'll be getting it tomorrow night.

Onepoint

We are getting it now, a real winter storm, with snow and everything.  Supposed to maybe get 6" but with wind and single digit lows.  Did I mention I really don't miss that when its gone?

stetto

Heh yeah, the local paper has a huge article on the Children's Blizzard of 1888 on their front page. Not sure what they're trying to say, to run for the tropics or hey, this ain't nuthin'.

One thing I do know: I just spent 4 hours trying to get the blower to run and all I got for my efforts is the halo of gasoline vapors.

It's going to be a long winter.

Onepoint

What a difference 7 hours make, we have about 13" so far, and its supposed to go on until tomorrow sometime.  At least its not very windy, enough for some 18" plus drifts, but I managed to get the cows fed without plowing 1st. Of course the wind is supposed to pick up tomorrow, which means I better get one of the diesels running in the morning to move some hay around.

Winter found us! Windy, snowing and cold!
