Hopefully no one has fragile heads today.  We did the usual fall asleep in front of the TV and woke up in time to go to bed, and amazingly it turned out to be a new year this morning without us watching.   Hope its better than the last, no matter how good the last was for us all.

Happy New Years...

A quiet evening with friends last night. Today, I went out long enough to shovel the driveway, and get my face frozen. Inside is so much more warm and cozy!

Slept through. Made the Mama HAWT chiles rellenos with mimosas for breakfast (we didn't stay up to open the cheap champaign on the Eve).

Family politics has already sullied 2017 for us. Love to be jolly, but honesty won't allow. We'll muddle through it.

A belated Happy New Year to all y'all! 

It started out very good for us - got an unexpected Christmas bonus which turned out to be enough to pay off the house!!  We are now officially homeOWNERS!!!  It's a good feeling, for sure.

Congrats! I may live long enough to feel that as well.
