How nice for you, Jaime. I'm sure that you and zika will be very happy together.... :P

It's gonna be 40 here today, and if one could believe the guessers, won't dip below 30 for daytime highs for the foreseeable future. Nice. I remember Februarys that never got out of the minuses....

We were 70 or so today and no wind, man was it nice.  Of course I spent it doing the things i have been avoiding like the plague, like cleaning pens, but it was at least nice doing them.

My daughter was laughing the other day about the lesson she tried to give to her pre-school class about winter.  How do you explain winter to a three year old in Houston who has never been through one, or describe that ssnnnnn.......ssssssss........snsnsssnnn....stuff?
You should take them on a field trip to the snow belt.....I bet Stettoland still has a great winter exhibit..... :icon_biggrin:

Up north here it's supposed to get down to 61.

Onepoint

Yeah, heck I saw the high in brownsville was only like 68 or so, I bet a lot of people thought it was an ice age coming.

Shoot, they officially predicted 50s for the weekend. Middle of February. I'm going to get used to this and then WHOOOOOSH! Back to 20 below.....zero.... :eusa_wall:

Well, we got those 50s, even up to 60 a few days ago. A thunderstorm got me up at 4:30 this morning.

It must be end times, I tell ya!!

Onepoint

We were to 70, and calm for the most part, too hard to get used to, I really miss the days of wond at 70MPH, or 40mph and 20 degrees.... not.  Wind has been bad this year, not so much for us right here, but straight west of us about 40 miles they clocked a gust at 92 mph the other day.  :eek5:

50 all day, the rain comes and goes, but the clouds are so thick and heavy that we have a dense ground fog and it looks like night at noon.

Strange days indeed!! :disturbed:

83 yesterday. Supposed to get warm today. :)

A week of spring......all the snow melted or evaporated, then mildly winter weather came back. Now it is cool and windy.  But anything can happen... Febuary can be our coldest month!

Onepoint

Well certainly paid for all the warm weather in Feb, got about 12" and some thigh high drifts so far.

All south of us. We hover between 15 and 40 degrees, some wind, and an early flood warning from snowmelt....

Onepoint

Yeah, no 40 for us until next week, got another couple inches, at least the wind quit, but what a mess.  Just north, and I mean like just a few miles, they got  more snow than we did, Torrington was all but shut down yesterday, and the county never even made it to the secondary highways much less busted drifts on the county roads.  Hard to comprehend I was in a T shirt on wednesday and sweating.
