Same here. One year ago today it was 80 degrees. We had a rain shower that turned to snow last night, the BIG STORM scheduled over the next three days has officially become a "glancing blow", whatever that is.

I wrote an email to the three main TV weather guys yesterday asking them to maybe just present us with ALL their forecast models every day and let us pick what we like. No response. I sense jobs being threatened...... :eusa_eh:

After the blizzard this morning - I had to put my truck in 4wd to get down our street - the sun came out......it warmed up......and every single snowflake has gone......just bizzarre!

I wish it was that way here, we had a pretty good ground blizzard most of yesterday, it melted almost as fast as it came making a sloppy mess but still left us about 3" and a lot of ice when it cooled off over night.   East of us though is worse, they had a real blizzard, had a 15-20 car pile up on I-80 a little west of Sidney NE.  I was reading people say on face book they spent 5 hours stopped on the highway.   I  was just across that stretch on Wednesday and was running the air conditioner.

I think....I think...winter is over. Seems like every second day we have had snow storms (which melted away on the day in between...). Now forecast is for sunny skies and temps well above freezing!
Ha ha....take that, Winter!!

Finally above 50. I actually have my garden starts outside today.

Why am I amazed that I have my garden starts out? The average high for today is suppose to be 70.... :eusa_wall:

Another winter like this last one will have us buying a piece of beach in Costa Rica.

We now get snow showers overnight, thunder in the afternoon. Spring is very confusing.

Onepoint

Oh boy, we go  from snow to sever thunderstorms.  Yesterday had a tornado warning along the river, today they are talking it supposed to be large hail, possible tornadoes along the WY / NE border.  :icon_confused:  Maybe they will be as accurate in forcasting as normal.

Huh. Nothing severe here, except the irritating nightly frost. Plants are in-out-in-out-etc.-etc...

The birds are here to bankrupt us via the feeders. Never seen so many orioles in one backyard.

Our thunderstorm season is apparently being delayed. Nothing forecast, anyway....
