Massive crowds out to watch this monster take to the rails again.

Unfortunately, they finished 2 months early...originally supposed to be completed in July 2019....this was one of our "must see" items in our trip down to Wyoming...looks like it will be travelling the country by then...... ah well......

Yeah, they made a pretty big deal of it.  It is pretty cool.  They had that and the living legend #844 hooked in tandem for the roll out, there is  Big boy  #4004 on static display in Cheyenne at the city park that they also had restored, but not the same as seeing and hearing it roll.  If you can get on face book there are a ton of videos of it on the way to Utah.

It sure has been getting a lot of media attention! Amazing project by the Union Pacific crew to get this big heavy, complicated monster rolling again!
