Pale by comparison, but my bucket list item for the past 5 years was to retire under my own terms - today I did just that!

Congrats nony,  I assume you will enter the shuffle board league now?   :icon_biggrin:

Congrats!

Three years, seven months and six days to go for me.  Not that I'm counting or anything....  :disturbed:

Shucks, that's only 1315 days.....

First 3 days of not having to go to work went pretty good, but I'm exhausted doing all the things that needed doing...
Almost got caught up for a bit today........got the oil changed in the truck, took the dog for a long walk, mowed the lawn, forgot which day of the week it was, and for good measure, drove with my left blinker on 🙀

I think I'll fit right in......

:icon_lol: I leave it on all the time just in case I might need it.   And I have a suspicion that I will avoid any kind of retirement.  Because I didn't have to irrigate, I got caught up on a couple "projects"  I put up a carport and built a small storage shed to replace the overhead camper Vicki keeps her outside cats in.  I am going back to farming where its less work!
