Just wanted to let my friends here know that I have deactivated my Facebook account.

Really, Why? because they are douchebags? 

Pretty much, I had shared a meme this morning, and a friend commented on it, and then someone jumped all over him about his comment.  Then Billie Sue shared a post from a mutual friend, and her brothers wife made inappropriate comments about it.  I just decided enough was enough.

Yeah its pretty much unfiltered, and people seem to forget any courtesy on it.   I used to dislike it a lot, but I have some family on it that I would not keep track of otherwise so kept on, now I just keep using it t see the ongoing train wreck unfold.   Kind of that way for you too Carl, I hate to see you leave as it kept us in touch, but I get it.

Truth be told, its a link to a lot of information on it you would never see on any media outlet, not that its all true, but some of it is, and probably stuff we should be hearing. 

I signed on to the farcebook in order to host photographs after deleting a previous account. Until you left, Carl, I had collected a total of 4 friends, two of which being chili pepper farmers I network with.

My friends list just dwindled by 25%...

Now that's an idea Stetto,

May just have to reopen it, and pare the hell out of the friends list!

I think I have like 30, half are family, and the rest are people I argue with , I don't know how I have that many otherwise as I just don't like anyone.   

Heh heh, I've had kooks on the farce weedle me as a troll because I only had 2 or 3 friends, which apparently is "unsocial".

I have heard of facebook, but neither me or my wife has an account.  We are just that unsociable I guess.  Just never figured I needed to know when someone was having trouble with the wrapper on a snickers.
