Dry, sort of warm, like 40s, and we get a stretch of high wind about every 3 or 4 days.  Besides not getting snow with cold snaps its mostly normal I guess.

Pretty unusual for us, but Saturday night into Sunday it started snowing.  When it finally quit about 8 pm Sunday we had 8 1/2 inches of heavy wet snow on the ground!

  I heard you guys had snow, but wow, 8"?  We have not seen that here since I can't even remember exactly.  Shaping up to another dry tough year.

I think we've had maybe 5" total this winter so far.

Wow!!! They must have moved the North Pole, or something..... we are still sitting at late Fall......waiting for Winter to arrive.

......and I spoke too soon! We have a mini blizzard rolling through here now....

It was winter!  Then it was spring!  Then it was winter again, complete with sn........snnnnnn......ssssnnnnn.....about 30 miles north of here and freezing rain here.  Then it got warm and all the ssssnnn.......ssss.......snnnn.....melted.  Now it's windy and getting cold again.  But there are no mosquitos!!

We had a white out day before yesterday, for about 10 minutes. 3 hours later it was sunny again. Night be fore last we also dipped down into the low teens.  Right now at 5:30 AM its still 35 and spitting rain.  The thing I said about a mostly normal winter...never mind.

Well, the weather has become more seasonal now - BRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr!

Still not much in the way of snow....

Our "get out of the house" getaway in Banff. There is not a whole lot of snow on those big Rocky Mountains!! Very unusual.....

Looks like winter may decide to show up,  going to get some snow, they say from 1- 4" don't really say for certain of course.  But we go from 60 the last couple days to -30 Windchills supposedly by Sunday. 

Winter has arrived! Temps have plummeted..cold, cold stuff flowing down from the north!

You southern guys down in the tropics might want to brace yourselves for whats coming.....!

....and it gets even better! Extreme cold warning in effect......windchill factor down to -50 (that is -58F for you Fahrenheit fans........)

Our windchill is down to about 10 right now, and thats cold enough after all the warm weather we have had.

Still, you better throw another log on the fire, and another dog on the bed......😁
