Making the long short, they want to do a biopsy on two "large" nodules on my thyroid and start dosing me with statins because the arteries are hardening up.

I have not heard good things about the statins (other than what bragging big pharma does), so I need to research that.

So I'm going to be seeing a cardiologist to find out if stents aren't in order...

I know that's a pain for you Stetto, but those heart things are nothing to make light of, so please get it checked out.  Pat's mom died of congestive heart failure because she wouldn't do anything about it after it was diagnosed. 

We kinda want to keep you around a little longer...

Got home Thursday evening for a 60 hour off shore tuna fishing trip out of Port Aransas. Friday afternoon started hurting on my upper right side.  I hoped for a little bit that it would go away, but it didn't. Had Billie Sue drive mo the ER.  They gave me 3 shots of morphine, and 2 shots of Dilaudid to get the pain knocked down. Then the did a CT scan with contrast. Loaded me into an ambulance and transferred me to a hospital in Abilene. They did an Ultra sound, and when they got the results, scheduled me for emergency gall bladder surgery.  Got out surgery about 5:30 pm Saturday.  They released me 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon. Home now trying to recuperate.  Tired and very sore.

Damm Carl, helluva way to beat me to it...

Geez Carl, I know the pain...it took 6 months and 6 different doctors to figure out that my gall bladder had to come out........and only then did they clue in because my skin had turned yellow!

You know, it's not a competition to see who can shed the most body parts, let's just stop this.  Hope you heal up quick Carl.

The tuna thing sounds fun though.
