By afternoon it was plenty warm, almost too warm for a long-sleeved shirt.  Was kind of weird throwing ice out of the waterers and not wearing a coat mid morning.   Better enjoy it I guess, I'm sure that will end all too soon.

It was 34 here this morning!

Two mornings in the mid 40s here in beautiful downtown Uhhmmble, but it's warming up.  Highs in the upper 70s with lotsa sunshine - doesn't get much better than that!

Until someone up north leaves the gate open.  Again.   :disturbed:

Nah Jaime, this is stupendous! Two of my pepper plants are nearly 5 feet tall and just started to pod up! Glorious 70s & 80s with an occasional and sparse 60° day? This is Eden, and I don't mind the humidity either. I just need to get back to Baird for some pork, eggs and that Barnes hospitality!

It has been absolutely beautiful here the past week. Lows in the 50's and 60's, highs in the mid 80s.  AC was running today and it was pretty foggy this morning.  Going to enjoy it while it lasts before that gate pops open again...

Getting to be time for a get-together, Stetto!

Onepoint

Its been pretty nice here, especially considering its Nov, except maybe the wind. That infamous WY trait showed up this week, yesterday had dust blowing and tin rattling, and made the 65 or so feel a lot cooler. Supposed to slack off today a little then pick up again tomorrow but only crawl up to 50 or so.

71° today. Actually feels like fall.

There are freeze & frost warnings all over north and northeast of us, I'll be bringing my smaller pepper plants in for the night, but my Thai peppers are close to 5.5 feet, the Mamma unit won't  want those bug attractors inside, so I'll cover them or put in the shed...

I could really get used to the rarity of this colder weather tho...

41 degrees and windy this morning, but the sun is out so all is well.  Looks like this will be a Texas winter "storm"; here today, gone tomorrow.  Just the way it should be.  Back into the 70s and 80s by the end of the week.

27 here this morning for our first freeze.

Heck we have been warm, was like 40 this morning and still almost 60 at 9pm, but sounds like the fun will be over, at least the warm temps, they're talking 40s for highs next week.

We got a little bit of rain this morning.  Enough to wash all the dust off the cars, but not nearly what the weather guessers were predicting.  It cooled off a bit, too.  Mid 70s right now.

Onepoint

We have been dry and relatively pleasant, little breezy now and then, but essentially shirt sleeve weather, which as not normal for this time of year.

That's going to end by next weekend they say, and arctic blast is going to roll down from Canadaia, 20s for highs, and singles for lows, at least for a few days. Still dry though, biggest chance for any kind of moisture is only in the 30% range.

Out of the 5+ inches forecast for Friday we got .8"...Looking for more wet tomorrow but I'm not gonna bother watching another "forecast" until they make a freeze announcement for frost in Austin. My peppers are thriving right now and I'd love them to stay that way. We're heading up to the Springs for a funeral on December 15, might have to stop in Baird to buy some eggs on the way home... :icon_mrgreen:

We got 1 3/4 inches  Thursday, and it is supposed to rain this evening and tonight.  We are under a flood watch.  Stetto, let me know how many eggs you want and i will make sure we keep them set back.

A little excitement today.  A tornado was reported northwest of us earlier today, so first we got the warning which was then downgraded to a watch, which is still in effect.  Pretty weird, sun is shining outside the door right now.
