ROFLMAO

The infamous Koi Pond,,, God how I remember that.

By the way, just how are those High Priced Carp doing???

Onepoint

Heh, well we had a die off for some reason, maybe because it turned into the black lagoon last spring and early summer or that someone gave us a few fish of theirs and they had some disease, so we re did it with a skimmer and all so the water is clear, now its occupied with salamanders and gold fish.

Ponds, the project that never ends.

Heh, you give those goldfish a couple years (if the goats aren't peeing in that pond), they'll gain a pound...I lived in Arkansas in the early 80s and our backyard had a large abandoned rock quarry in it--Abandoned because they struck groundwater and it filled. Well, some resident before our time stocked the new lake with largemouth bass and, to feed the bass, goldfish. The goldfish that had enough brains to avoid the bass grew into--you guessed it, 1-2 lb. goldcarp...

Size matters...To a goldfish... :P

Stetto, if this storm heads your way, you'd better warm up that snowblower......  I have never seen so much snow.......!

stetto

Aw, what's all the commotion? We already have a winter's worth of snow...

The snowblower definitely needs a tuneup, will only run on full choke and I haven't had a chance to take it in--I'd rather tear it down myself and kit that damm carb, but I got no warm shop.

I do have an old mid '60s Toro 12 horse yard tractor (with more torque than the Cub Cadet 20) that came with a snowblower attachment, but the thing weighs a ton and my shoulders just won't let me lift that stuff... :icon_cry:

balsum fractus

well you're lucky to have any sort of snow blower !  Even if I had one, there is no place to blow snow to..................there are mountainous piles of snow everywhere... Even my shovel is getting too short to reach the top of the pile of snow that used to be on my driveway....... :icon_razz:

But all that will change in a week......

Frazz

heh maybe you need to buy a couple of Jetcats and blow that snow the proper way  :icon_lol:
To understand true love, lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for an hour and then see which one is glad to see you when you come back

jetmex

I saw a snow shovel once....

BTW - you fellers up north can close that back door any time you'd like.  Supposed to get into the teens here later this week and that just ain't right!

stetto

Heh, saw video of snow falling in Shreveport LA...

Welcome, you are now tundra dwellers!

Far as storming goes, the idjit on the radio keeps telling me it's snowing where I am, and should have 5" of it by tonight, and I have yet to see a snowflake fall...

jetmex

Yeah, it appears to be snowing all around us.  It's possible here, we'll see what happens.

Stetto, email me your phone number if you have a minute.  I lost it when the phone was replaced....

We are to get 3-6" of the white stuff starting around 4:00 this afternoon. This, of course will be followed by the ever-present rain at midnight. What a surprise'  :eusa_wall:  :eusa_wall:

balsum fractus

.... I don't miss the rain, but you don't have to shovel it in minus 100 ....
