Heh, well ours was a bust despite all the big blizzard talk, we had maybe 2" if that, and a little bit of 25mph wind.  Not that I m complaining about not having a blizzard, but we are going to be seeing sand dunes if this keep up.

stetto

I feel your pain. I've actually never been so happy to have to dig out, we had 6" of moisture last year, Phoenix had over 10...

Just aint that the truth.  We got a lil skiff of snow lately.

Drove 42 miles to Fargo yesterday in a pre-blizzard weather event. Took over an hour to get there...

The drive back (in the dark) took 2 & a half.

Hardly any new snow, but huge winds. Saw more than a dozen in the ditches and drove behind/around even more potential in-the-ditches. People are incredibly stupid when they aren't from here. Nort Decoder is one of the only states hiring these days, and morons are clambering from all over the country to come kill themselves in tundra weather conditions.

Whoa... whats that stuff....  the ground outside is white instead of brown now.  Weather liars (ha stetto) say we might see snow in some quantity.  That is something we have not had for several years.

Yeah they were predicting we were going to get hammered, but changed it and said that you guys out that way were going to get he brunt of it.  We did get white, but not much to count. Sure as hell is cold though, our thermometers are lying. Between the wind and damp it was about as cold as it has felt all year yesterday.

This one's missing us to the south. I'm not unhappy, these plow geeks have never been so slow or incomplete in storm cleanup. We have a good 20 inches on the ground, that'll do for now...

I do have the county plowguy who does our road trained up nice--He lifts his blade now as he goes by--Last week they brought in the industrial snow blower to eliminate the 5 foot berm at the end of the drive. That was nice too...

stetto

Well Ron? We're all a-twitter to know--How much didja get? I was hearing ludicrous amounts of 7 feet in places NOT in the mountains....

You get back to us when that shovel cools off... :disturbed:

Frazz

well, havent seen any official amounts in my area but think we got 3-5 inches is all.

Man, that's hardly an inch of moisture...Here's hoping for a healthy wet Spring.

After our last snow event the official panic distributors have begun screaming "FLOOD!" from high and low. Like their big brothers at the networks they don't pass on an opportunity to stir the muck.

They predicted 24" for us on Wednesday night.  I hustled to get all the hay I need ed to haul down to CO by Wed afternoon, and we got a skiff.  They predicted snow showers for today, and I get up to 4" and its snowing like crazy. The only time weather guessers are right in when the y say they are wrong.

balsum fractus

umm.......it's raining up here.......

balsum fractus

oops..... now it is snowing..............a lot!!

stetto

We're told last night that we're going to get 12+" tonight and tomorrow...Or maybe 6-10...Or 4...Or maybe an inch.

And they get paid for this.

balsum fractus

you should join them.....working conditions probably do not include climbing on ladders, or even going outside......
