come to think of it, I don't think the hay feeder ever made it to video, and it certainly took on a life of its' own.......

OK, just to be clear, I didn't shoot Bambi, the PuddinFace shot Bambi. That's my story, and I got evidence, as opposed to those who would claim Disney on Ice in their front yard...We were in the blind a total of 1 hour.



This was her first hunt with me. She did great. Why we didn't start years ago, heck I don't know. But she's moving to Denver/CO Springs next summer, at least that's the plan.....

I got two bonus doe tags, gotta make up for the 150 lbs this one didn't weigh. He's prolly dressed at 60 lbs or less.

Winter has descended upon us.  It's a frigid 72 degrees right now, might get down to 50-something tonight.  I might have to go out and get some of those Carharrts that you guys keep talking about.  Already have one of those tookie things the Canadians wear on their heads, but that was a leftover from a winter in Dallas late last century, eh.....

We were at 75 here today, I have worn T-shirts for the last couple days and no coat even in the mornings.  This keeps up and people are going to expect me to come out of hibernation or something.

Dang, been 30s & 40s & I just quit watching weather or checking the interweb weather kooks, & today it's raining & 38 at 8 am....I come up from the studio 4 hours later and it's snowing sideways and 20 degrees.. .

And there's a blizzard warning on the local tee vee.
