We have had a couple days in the 70s late last week, but got the reality check of 18 degree low this morning and the next few days are supposed to be cool and breezy with snow showers.  And what the heck, how did it get to be Easter already?

In the bullseye: Woke up to 4 inches of snow this morning, expecting 8+ more by noon tomorrow.

It's not a wet, heavy snow either. This stuff is gonna drift up pretty good.

Spring has slipped out of our grasp. A good 8 inches of snow over the weekend and it's snowing now, more predicted every other day this week.

No temps above 30°, and they claim it will be -3° f on Wednesday morning.

And here I am, refusing to run that blower anymore.....

Got to experience the wrong side of zero this weekend, with a bunch more degrees subtracted by the windchill.  Funny thing, when the sun comes out, even though it is well below freezing, the snow is evaporating.....

Gaaaaaaa!!! Forecast changed....more snow for the rest of the week!
Only get to "enjoy" one more day of this, then we're off to the tropics of Las Vegas for a week..

We have been all over the place, one day will be 60 to 70, the next will be 40s and snow.  Had a  inch of snow last night, and wind after being 60 degrees but cloudy all day, tomorrow 60s again, then Friday drops in the 30s for high and snow again.   I can't figure out why my spring farming isn't done yet.   I guess I will have to blade the snow off to plant at the rate its going.  :sadness:

Well that was pretty funny mother nature ha ha, tease us with some near 70s, then the next night singe digit wind chills with 3 or 4" of snow.   You are certainly the life of the party with the practical jokes.   :disgust:

At least you're getting above freezing once in a while.

We've got some severely serious seasonal depression going on here. My kids are threatening to cack me in my sleep for moving them away from Arizona 16 years ago....

It was 95 with a 50mph wind yesterday in Vegas....a much milder 83 degtees todsy, but dry as a bone.......only 5% humidity.

Once one successfully divorces oneself from the myth that modern weather forecasting technology is any kind of "advanced" beyond the Wyoming Weather Rock, these weather guys are kind of fun to watch pretending they know what's coming. This weekend, for instance, is only 3 days away. This mornings forecast:

Maybe 10-18 inches of snow and gale winds, UNLESS
The temps are warmer, which means 1-2 inches of rain/mixed precip, OR
The entire system slips a couple hundred miles south.

Even the newsguy & gal gave this rocket scientist a WTF look.

Only 3 days out. And they want to tell me how my summer's going to go (warm & dry, btw)

No doubt they'll know more this weekend.... :disturbed: :eusa_doh:

Heh, yeah they once showed all the models they use on our local, it was like a dozen of them, and most of them different, several of them way different, and they said they pick the ones they like best.  Sometimes I wonder if their favorites are the ones with pretty colors or something, because they can't predict shit.

Back home yesterday...it snowed last night......all gone by this afternoon.....more snow tonight.......and so on for the rest of the week.......

Yeah, we are on the forced participation weather roller coaster right now, 78 yesterday, with 40mph winds, today still 70s but predicted 35mph gusts, then later possible thunderstorms, tonight snow with 45 MPH wind, and 35 for high tomorrow.  I'm so confused I think I am going to wear Bermuda shorts and flipflops with a arctic parka over the top.
