Ooooh, fun time is definitely over, it got white and cold over night,  the last couple  days I have been threatening to even go out and fly an airplane or something becaue the weatehr has been pretty nice,  Not happening today for sure.

Although the news tells me we are in a el  nino, an will be warm and dry mostly this winter.

QuoteSnow in Hoostin???????🙀

Ummmm....no.  There was a little bit of sleet and some ice pellets that fell for a few minutes in some parts of town, but nothing that could really be classified as sssssss........snnnnnn.........snsnsnsnsnsnnn.....well, you know.  Probably a case of mistaken identity since few of us have ever seen the stuff.  It was so underwhelming, it made the local news   :eek5:

I did have to scrape ice off the windshield of the truck a few days ago.

Over embelished in the news, I guess.....

Over embellished? That's got to be the understatement of the year.

A White Christmas has befallen us........haven't seen snow fall on Christmas day for a number of years!

We had been fortunate to have a relatively nice and calm couple days of Xmas Eve and day, but that's over,  catching the western fringes of a pretty major winter storm in NE, and looks like freezing drizzle this morning and the freezer is going to crank up later in the week with 20s for highs.

Comin' right up our alley, Boss.

Just last night they predicted six inches, at 7 this morning they changed their minds to "10-to-15 inches", likely blizzardy on Thursday.

Make some popcorn, watch some classic Christmas movies....Diehard first.

stetto

Ok, I "think" we got around 10 inches, that's what's being reported anyway....Wind blows it all into the driveway, so for all intents and porpoises we got 37 inches...

Below zero, got just enough of the driveway blowed out so T could get out, then the auger belt on the MTD tore itself up.

I got no heated shop... :sadness:

We got bupkis, lot of wind, lot of cold but all the snow went to you and parts east.  Today was still in the 20s for a high, but no wind thankfully, I had to be up on rail cars and even the little breeze was miserable.

stetto

Well, I made it work, but am paying the price in years off my life. Parts are on the way, hope it's a warm (ANYthing above 20 degrees) day, twisting nuts & bolts @ -8 feels just like it sounds...

Fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh-REEZING up here this morning. 20 below ('Merican). Ha-ha-ha-ha-hap-p-p-p-py Nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-newyears!!!!! :errrr:

Onepoint

Yeah, we were at -10 earlier without wind, now its breezy but on the positive side of zero.
